Entry 2: Long Break for Flying in Phoenix

So, it’s been a good stretch since I last posted. And I have a legitimate reason. I’ve been working to get my flying certificates for a future career in the Airline industry. Right now, I’m about a week out from my Private Checkride, with Instrument starting right afterwards. (In non-plane speak, I’ve almost got my pilots license for flying in clear skys, afterwards I get to learn how to fly in clouds.) It’s not easy, but most things worth doing are hard.

However, on the other side of that spectrum, whenever I get engrossed in a new schooling situation, my brain also explodes with art production and creativity. Which isn’t honestly great since I need to get stuff done. But some of the best ideas come from when I have a deadline… which most people explain as procrastination.

Coming to a compromise though, I’ve decided to start posting my art on here again in order to get this all out there while working towards my flying certificates. This way I can balance both worlds, or try to figure out how to do so. Which is equally if not more important to my future mentally speaking.

Below are just a few pieces I’ve made since my last post. They’re a little more ‘sketchy’ than my previous pieces, but I like to make a variety of art, which includes what I’m uploading here. I’ll post more as life continues, probably a bit sporadically due to my current schooling situation. Maybe I’ll throw in some flying stories or updates here and there. Though my goal overall is to keep this about the universe I’m building, so this might stay strictly art restricted, but we’ll see.

Either way thank you for taking the time to check this stuff out, more updates on the way!
